Fighter Star

The ninth Star class, built around fist gauntlets, rage generation, and explosive Berserk windows.

Version: Chapter 1: Sands of Frost
Fighter Star in Aion 2

Overview

Fighter Star was introduced with Chapter 1: Sands of Frost as a new close-range class for players who want a faster and more resource-driven melee experience. It does not follow the same rhythm as a mana-based caster or a shield tank. The player builds rage through combat, chooses when to commit to Berserk, and tries to extend the burst window without losing control of the encounter. That creates a high-pressure loop: the class feels strongest when it can stay on a target, but its resource timing and melee commitment make poor entries expensive.

Strengths

  • Distinct rage-to-Berserk combat loop
  • High burst potential during its signature window
  • Strong close-range pressure against targets that cannot disengage

Tradeoffs

  • Needs time on target to build and spend rage
  • Burst windows can be wasted by poor timing
  • Vulnerable to displacement and repeated crowd control

Recommended for

  • Players who want an aggressive melee class
  • Players who enjoy resource management
  • Players who like timing a powerful transformation window

How to play

  • Build rage without spending key tools before the target is committed.
  • Start Berserk when the group can protect the damage window.
  • Plan the next target or disengage before the burst ends.

How to play against

  • Deny contact while rage is building.
  • Save displacement or hard control for the Berserk window.
  • Do not trade into its strongest burst when you can reset distance.
